Dear Birthparent…
Thank you for considering us to be the proud parents of your baby. We admire your strength, courage, and selflessness as you go through this journey. We will do all that we can to support you and we’re honored that you are considering us to be the parents of your child. Our promise to you is that we will love your baby unconditionally. We will strive to provide them with a strong foundation at home, a good education, and the ability to explore their interests and passions. Your baby will have two amazing sisters who will cover them with kisses, make them laugh and love them from the minute they arrive. Holidays will be filled with extended family, fun loving cousins, family traditions, laughter, and joy.
We promise to raise your baby with the deepest understanding of love, kindness, and acceptance. We promise to guide your child as they go through the ups and downs of life that we all experience. We promise to give your baby strength and courage, to be who they were meant to be and finally, we promise to make sure they know how deeply loved they are by you and by us. Throughout this process, we pray for your baby but most importantly, we pray that you find peace in selecting the right family for them.
About Us…
We are Jordan and Colleen. We were good friends in high school, went separate ways while we finished college and then reunited later in life and fell in love! Colleen is outgoing, upbeat and loves to do be active and outdoors. Jordan is patient, hard-working and grew up playing hockey and golf. We married in 2013 and have 2 daughters, ages 7 and 4. Our daughters are so excited for a sibling. They both love babies so much and we know they will be the best big sisters for your baby. We both work from home which allows a great work/life balance and ensures we keep family time as our priority. During the week you’ll find us playing tennis, basketball or going for a bike ride. Some of our favorite traditions include Friday night pizza and movie night and going to the lake in the summer!
Our Home and Pets…
Our home is in a safe, gated community that is filled with young families and beautiful wildlife! We often see deer, bunnies, eagles and owls. There is a fenced in park, tennis and basketball courts and 2 golf courses. We love playing outdoors with friends, playing sports, biking through the neighborhood or swimming in the pool. We live on a little street in the back of the community that is quiet, little traffic and has the best neighbors. The home has 4 bedrooms, 5 baths, a pool and a swing set for the kids to enjoy. We are often in the front yard playing kickball, soccer or throwing the football with the neighbor kids. We are in an excellent school district with A rated schools just outside of our neighborhood.
Our Family…
Family is so important to us and we have a large, fun group on both sides. Colleen has over 40 first cousins and we both have a handful of nieces of nephews on both sides of the family. Seeing all of the cousins play together brings us so much joy and we make sure we keep this quality family time a priority. We both grew up spending lots of time with extended family, especially during the holidays and it’s important to us to instill the value of quality time with family to our children. We are also blessed to have a great group of friends and neighbors that are like family to us.
Our Journey to Adoption…
We’ve always felt adoption would be a part of our journey together. Colleen has 3 siblings, her sister was adopted and she always says her sister is the best gift her parents could have given her. We’ve always known we wanted a large family and in 2019 we had a couple of miscarriages and the more praying and soul searching we did, we felt it was a sign from God that it was time for us to adopt! We are excited to share this journey filled with joy with our daughters as we know they’ll be so excited to love this new addition to our family and we can’t wait to welcome this baby into our family with open arms and open hearts.
