Thank you for taking the time to consider adoption.  We can appreciate that this must be a very difficult time for you, and that you only want the best for your baby.  We respect you, and admire your courage and strength in taking this initial step.  We are both very open people, and would be happy to get to know you, and to share more about ourselves too. Please know that as adoptive parents, we plan to be open, honest, respectful, sensitive, and positive when speaking to our children about each of their birth parents.  We will explain that you made your decision lovingly & thoughtfully, and would be forever grateful for your decision. Dear Expectant Parents,

We are deeply moved by your decision to explore an adoption plan for your child. We don’t know all the challenges you face but hope that learning more about us will help you face them with courage and confidence.

Our son Lucas was adopted two years ago and has been a daily blessing. We are thankful to his birthparents for making the decision to trust us with him.
