Dear Birthparent…

We would like to thank you for taking the time to read this and getting to know us.  We cannot pretend to know what you may be going through during this process and we realize that the decision you are making is a difficult one.  However, please know that we understand you are making this decision with immense courage and selflessness.  Your choice for adoptive parents for this child will lead to a great blessing in the lives of the family that you choose, but we so hope that you decide to bless us with your decision.

We have built our lives and dreams around having children and were crushed to discover that we would be unable to have biological children.  Luckily, there are wonderful women such as yourself that can offer us a ray of hope that our dreams of becoming parents can come true through adoption.  It would be our privilege to give your child the most loving, nurturing and stable life we possibly can.  We promise that your child will be loved, encouraged and supported through every step, every fall, every cry, and every success – through every day of their life.  Please know that your child will grow up in a kind and caring home filled with unconditional love and laughter, and a big family that is very eager to meet them.

We are Trevor and Clint and we’re so glad that you are taking the time to learn about us! Your courageous decision to allow someone else to adopt your child is truly remarkable. Without people like you, people like us would have no hope! Our dream is to open our lives to a child and give all the love our hearts have to give…and then some! We admire your determination to find a family that will give your child all the love and support any mother would want their child to have.

We hope you find comfort in knowing that you will be the only mother this child will ever know. A day will never go by that we don’t celebrate the gift you may possibly give to us, always reminding our child they came to us through their mother’s incredible acts of love. We hope that we are your “chosen couple” and promise, if we are, to make every beat of our heart about being the best fathers we can possibly be. Dear Birthparent…

We may not know you, but we already consider you to be one of the most important people in our lives. For years we have worked to build a strong foundation. We wanted to build a unit that was not only full of love but that provides security and opportunity for the child we knew was in our future.  We want you to know that we have created that environment and are ready to add to our family. For over ten years we have prepared ourselves, our relationship, our careers and our lives for this moment. It was important for us to prepare so that when we had this opportunity to write to you in hopes of being two of the most important people in your life, you would know we were it. We would be the ones you would choose to raise your beautiful child.

We want you to know that we will give your child a life full of adventure, love and opportunity to be whatever it is he or she wants to be. We will allow him or her to explore this amazing world and give him or her the tools to navigate this life. As we do so, we will always remember you.
